There were celebrations, cheers and plenty of excitement at our Club in Huyton on Friday evening 6th March, when a lucky local player scooped an incredible £50,000 jackpot during the National Bingo Game evening session.

The 67-year-old winner, a familiar face at the club who has been enjoying bingo nights with us for more than 20 years, struck it lucky in what turned out to be an unforgettable evening. Choosing to remain anonymous, she described the moment as “completely surreal.”

“I love coming to bingo – it’s such a great night out.” 

She said:

“My mum introduced me to bingo years ago and I’ve been coming here ever since. I’ve never won anything like this before – it just shows you really do have to be in it to win it!”

“I’m planning a shopping spree and a special holiday. I can’t wait to share the good news with my partner, my three children and my nine grandchildren.”

The atmosphere inside the club was electric as fellow players realised what had happened.

She added:

“Everyone was congratulating me and the whole club erupted. I absolutely love coming here – it’s like one big family.”

Club Manager Robert Cahill said the win marked a special milestone for the venue.

“We are absolutely over the moon to celebrate our very first £50,000 jackpot winner. We’ve only recently joined the National Bingo Game, so we’re hoping this will be the first of many big winners here at Club 3000 Huyton.”

He added:
