As the UK’s largest independent bingo operator, we celebrated the grand opening of our newly refurbished Coatbridge club on Saturday 17 October, unveiling an investment of more than £3 million in the flagship venue while marking its 20th anniversary.

Originally opened in October 2006, the club has undergone a major transformation, creating a modern and luxurious bingo destination for customers while retaining the friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the heart of the Club 3000 Bingo experience.

More than 1,000 guests attended the spectacular launch night, which featured an exciting programme of entertainment, including stilt walkers, live bands and vocalists, the Secret Singers performing as The Police and, of course, plenty of thrilling bingo games. Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly on arrival, and every customer received a commemorative 20th anniversary coin to mark the special occasion.

Actress Elaine C Smith officially opened the refurbished venue, entertaining the crowd before cutting the ribbon to mark the occasion.

The Coatbridge club also holds a special place in bingo history. In 2008, it was the venue for a record-breaking £1.2 million National Bingo Game jackpot win, which remains the largest jackpot ever won in the game.

Brian Fraser, owner of Club 3000 Bingo, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have invested in our Coatbridge club. It has always held a special place in our history and is particularly close to my heart, as it was the first venue we opened 20 years ago."

"We are excited to bring a fresh, modern experience to our customers while continuing to provide the friendly, welcoming atmosphere they know and love. Seeing so many customers join us for this special night made the occasion even more memorable."

“The atmosphere was electric and I’d like to thank everyone who joined us, as well as my amazing team, for making it all possible as we also remained fully operational whilst work was being carried out.  We love being part of this vibrant community and can’t wait to welcome even more guests in the coming weeks.”

Club 3000 Bingo is the UK’s largest independent bingo operator, with 24 clubs open across the country and two more under development. We continue to invest in our estate, enhancing our venues and creating enjoyable experiences for customers and communities.
