Elizabeth Barbour Has Achieved an Incredible Milestone at Club 3000 Bingo Glenrothes

We're proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone as Elizabeth "Liz" Barbour marks 40 years of dedicated service.

Liz began her journey working part-time weekends when her daughter started school, at a time when the venue was known as Kingsway Entertainments. Her commitment and passion quickly saw her move into a full-time role, beginning a remarkable four-decade career in the bingo industry.

Over the years, Liz has witnessed the club evolve through several transformations and ownerships - from Kingsway Entertainments to Granada, then Gala, and now Club 3000 Bingo, the largest independent operator with the biggest prize money venues!

Throughout these changes, one constant has remained: Liz's warm personality and dedication to customers.

Reflecting on her time, Liz fondly recalls not only the changes in the club but also the memorable uniforms, from brown overalls and pinstriped shirts with bow ties to today's purple shirts and waistcoats.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been building relationships with customers.

Liz said:

"It makes me feel old when I see three generations of the same family coming in for a game of bingo. It's great to get to know your customers - everyone knows I love a chat."

Liz credits her long service to the friendships she has built over the years, both with colleagues and customers alike.

Liz added:

"It's lovely working here. I've made lots of friends over time, and with my love of talking, I'm sure I'll make many more."

Five Lucky £5,000 Winners Across Five Clubs Over The Weekend!!

The month of April has been very lucky so far for quite a few members.

Not only did we hold our 'Everyone's A Winner' lucky envelope promotion that created over 100 winners, but we also held a prize draw, where for the past few weeks, members have been entering their names.

The name drawn would win £1000, but if they were present at the moment of the draw, the prize fund would be upgraded to a huge £5,000.

On Sunday 26th April, five regular bingo players won £5,000...the perfect way to end the weekend.

Our Club in Coatbridge is Having a Facelift

As part of our continued commitment to deliver an exceptional bingo and entertainment experience, we're about to begin a major £3 million refurb of our flagship club in Coatbridge.

Originally opened in October 2006, our Coatbridge club was equipped with the latest bingo technology available at the time. Now, nearly 20 years on, the venue is set to undergo a full transformation.

The refurbishment will introduce cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art facilities, elevating the club into a modern leisure destination and offering customers a more luxurious and immersive bingo experience.

Importantly, the club will remain open and fully operational throughout the refurbishment period. Measures have been carefully planned to ensure customers can continue to enjoy the Club 3000 Bingo experience with minimal disruption while improvements are underway. The project is scheduled for completion by September this year.

The Coatbridge venue also holds a unique place in bingo history, having been the site of the record-breaking £1.2 million National Bingo Game jackpot win in 2008 - still the largest jackpot ever awarded in the game!!

The 67-year-old winner, a familiar face at the club who has been enjoying bingo nights with us for more than 20 years, struck it lucky in what turned out to be an unforgettable evening. Choosing to remain anonymous, she described the moment as “completely surreal.”

“I love coming to bingo – it’s such a great night out.”

She said:

Club 3000 Bingo will relocate to Hartcliffe Way after 12 years at Broadwalk Shopping Centre

C ommunity response to its plans have been ‘overwhelmingly supportive’

Club 3000 Bingo – the only remaining bingo club in South Bristol – has submitted its planning application to build a new state-of-the-art club to serve its many thousands of regular Bristol customers.

For the past 12 years, Club 3000 Bingo has been based in Knowle’s Broadwalk Shopping Centre. But the shopping centre has come to the end of its life and is set to be redeveloped.

After years of searching for a new home, the family-owned business has bought a site at 37 Hartcliffe Way – currently a vacant commercial yard - where the company is applying for planning permission to build its new bespoke club.

Before submitting its planning application, Club 3000 Bingo held a public consultation, asking the community what they think of the new plans. The response from the local people was overwhelmingly supportive.

For many of its regular customers Club 3000 Bingo is their main social outlet. One person who provided feedback said: “I am an old-aged pensioner, and this is the only place I go. I will be lost when it closes, so the sooner the new site opens the better, and the plans look lovely.”

The new club – located about two miles from Broadwalk Shopping Centre - will include great food and a bar for Club 3000’s customers. As well as the new building, Club 3000 Bingo is proposing a car park for approximately 144 car parking spaces, including dedicated spaces for blue badge holders and electric vehicle charging points.

Club 3000 Bingo founder Brian Fraser said: “It’s been an emotional time at Club 3000 Bingo as we had to close the doors at our Broadwalk Shopping Centre club. For many of our regulars this is their only social outlet – it means a lot to them, and to us. So there were a lot of tears shed.

“But we are very excited that we’ve now submitted our planning application. We are looking forward to a positive dialogue with officers at Bristol City Council, and hope our application can be approved swiftly, so we can get on with building a fantastic state-of-the-art bingo club for our customers to enjoy. We’re really looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming all our customers back.”

Club 3000 Bingo has expanded from just a single venue in 2006, to now operating 24 sites across England, Scotland and Wales, making it the largest independent bingo club operator in the UK and 3rd largest bingo chain.

In Bristol, it has 34,000 members, with 3,000 actively playing bingo at the existing club.

Our Brand New Leeds Venue Opened with a Spectacular Celebration

We lit up Leeds on Saturday, 23rd August with the grand opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art club in Hunslet...a night to remember!

Our dazzling launch marked a £5.5 million investment into a modern, stylish space designed to bring bingo into a whole new era.

More than 850 guests packed out the venue for an evening of entertainment, live music, bubbly on arrival, and of course – plenty of thrilling bingo games. The club also has many unique features including the first ice cream van in a bingo club!

The celebrations were made extra special with a star appearance from popular actor Jack P Shepherd – winner of Celebrity Big Brother and best known for his role in Coronation Street – who officially cut the ribbon to welcome Leeds to its brand-new club.

“Being born and raised in Leeds, I felt truly honoured to open Club 3000 Bingo in my hometown on Saturday,” said Jack P. Shepherd. “The new venue is incredible and was filled to the brim—it was a fantastic evening with an electric atmosphere, and I was given the warmest welcome. Some of my family joined me as well, and they absolutely loved both the entertainment and, of course, playing bingo!”

It was a night to remember at Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool as one lucky player scooped a life-changing £50,000 jackpot during the evening session of the National Bingo Game.

The lucky winner, a 62-year-old local woman, was enjoying a night out on Friday evening 2nd May, with her daughter when her numbers came up securing the top prize of the night.

Remarkably, it was only her fifth visit to the club!

Overjoyed and still in shock, the winner shared her excitement:

We marked the grand opening of our brand-new venue at Ocean Terminal, Leith, Edinburgh, on Saturday, 25th January, with an unforgettable Burns Night celebration.

After months of planning we finally got to show off our new venue for Club 3000 Bingo Edinburgh with an amazing grand opening event that showcased a significant £6 million investment in cutting-edge design and a modern layout.

The launch night drew over 800 guests who were treated to an array of entertainment, including a ceilidh band, a magician and a pipe band, and of course exciting bingo games and a warm welcome with bubbly on arrival.

Popular actor Elaine C Smith officially opened the venue, delivering a heartfelt rendition of Auld Lang Syne, setting the perfect tone for the evening.

Charity has always been close to our hearts here at Club 3000 Bingo, and as a member of the Bingo Association we get the opportunity to raise money for Variety - The Children's Charity.

We couldn't do it without the generous donations from our members!

We were so happy to hand over the keys for a Variety Sunshine Coach to North Ridge High School in Manchester. This marks the 36th coach funded by the Bingo Association over the past six years, contributing to the £2 million they have raised for Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Pictured presenting the coach is Donna Kunyo and Zoe Greenwood from our club in Middleton, along with the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Paul Andrews, Miles Baron, Chief Executive of The Bingo Association and Head Teacher Shauna Johnson.

North Ridge High School is a specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school operating across two sites: one catering to students from Year 7 to 6th Form, and a HUB exclusively for 6th Form students. The school is dedicated to fostering individuality and success for all its students, tailoring teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and ensuring every child can reach their full potential. The donated Sunshine Coach will serve the school as its student intake grows, enhancing opportunities for trips to places like Sea Life, local parks, museums, work experience venues, and swimming facilities. These outings are vital for building independence, social skills, and community integration.

Variety’s Sunshine Coaches have had a transformative impact across the UK, enabling schools to take disabled and disadvantaged children on educational and recreational trips that might otherwise be inaccessible. The new coach will become a valuable resource for North Ridge, promoting learning and development both in and beyond the classroom.

Mrs Johnson, Head of North Ridge High School, expressed heartfelt gratitude:

The grand opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art club at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh will take place on January 25, 2025, coinciding with Burns Night. The new venue will replace our current club on Manderston Street, which is set to host a celebratory party in November to commemorate its 50th anniversary.

We're investing £5.5 million in the new club, featuring modern fittings and fixtures to provide a luxurious experience. The move not only benefits Edinburgh's leisure landscape but also contributes to the local economy with the creation of 25 new jobs, while retaining the current team.

The Grand Final of the National Bingo Game Caller of the Year will take place on Sunday November 17th, hosted at Mecca Bingo Wakefield, sponsored by the National Bingo Game.

After more than 200 callers across Great Britain entered the prestigious competition, only seven finalists remain, with one set to be crowned the 2024 National Bingo Game Caller of the Year.

We're so proud to have two of our team in the finals, Kara from Club 3000 Bingo Ipswich and Tim from Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool. Here's some information about them and what they love about bingo:

Qualifying rounds took place in bingo clubs nationwide, with contestants evaluated on their knowledge of the game, showmanship, and calling skills. The judging panel for the final will include Miles Baron, CEO of The Bingo Association, the 2022 National Bingo Game Caller of the Year winner Benj Maycock, and a third judge yet to be confirmed.

Tour de Club 3000 Raises £5000

Club 3000 Bingo in Huyton recently rallied their community of staff and customers to raise an impressive £5,000 in support of Zoe’s Place, Liverpool’s cherished baby hospice.

Zoe’s Place, which opened its doors as the first baby hospice in the UK in 1995, provides critical respite, end-of-life and palliative care for babies, infants and young children across Merseyside and the Northwest.

The hospice is currently working to raise £6.4 million to fund a new facility with upgraded resources to better support families in need.

Our team in Huyton took an innovative approach to their fundraising efforts. Inspired by the club’s close ties to Zoe’s Place (many of the team members know someone personally touched by the charity) our staff organised a “Tour de Club 3000.”

For the challenge, they collectively cycled 1,486 miles on exercise bikes set up in the club’s reception area. With determination and community support, they completed the ride on Sunday, November 3rd, surpassing their initial goal and raising £5,000.

Club 3000 Bingo Huyton Manager Robert Cahill expressed his pride in the team and gratitude for the community's generosity:

“I am so proud of my staff, and a huge thank you to our customers who supported us. Lucky Clydebank Customer Wins Big!!

On Monday evening 21st October whilst playing at the evening session with friends, the numbers came up on the National Bingo Game for a local lady, resulting in the top prize of a whopping £50,000 Jackpot!!

A lucky customer at Club 3000 Coatbridge won £100,000 in a Special Unique Link Game and shared her winnings with her friend!

Our club in Coatbridge celebrated an exciting jackpot win on Sunday September 30th during our first-ever "Millionaire Night" event.

All 24 of our clubs were linked together for a unique Link Game, which took place on Sunday evening 30 ^th September.

The star prize of £100,000 was claimed by Maureen Russell from Airdrie, who called a full house. Additional prizes were awarded at other locations, including £10,000 for a two-line win in Cardiff and £5,000 shared between Blackpool and Doncaster clubs for one-line wins.

Maureen, who has been a regular at the Coatbridge club since it opened in 2006 , attended the event with four friends, including her best friend of 50 years. The two have a tradition of splitting their winnings, and this night was no exception—Maureen shared the life-changing £100,000 prize with her friend.

The 65-year-old winner, married with two grown sons and one granddaughter, expressed her excitement:

"I love coming to bingo, and Club 3000 at Coatbridge is always a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was amazing, and I couldn’t believe it when I won. The staff were wonderful, and the whole club was buzzing with excitement. I’m still in shock and haven’t decided how to spend the money yet, but it’s an incredible amount that will change my life."

Tim Dobson Is In The Final!!

Our very own Tim Dobson from Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool is through to the finals of The National Bingo Game Caller Of The Year AwardS and we can't wait.

Tim made it through a very close fought regional heat and is one of the finalists to represent the independent bingo clubs in the North. Tim is the second finalist to represent Club 3000 Bingo, as Kara Smith from our club in Ipswich made it through her heat, representing the Midland's and the South.

National Bingo Game Caller of the Year 2024, takes place on 17th November and we're counting down the days.

Qualifying events will continue to be held in Bingo venues across the whole of Great Britain over the next couple of months. Contestants will be judged on criteria such as their knowledge of the game, showmanship skills, and of course their skills as a caller.

The winner will receive a trophy and £1,000 in cash. The winner will also act as an ambassador for the land-based Bingo Industry and the National Bingo Game over the next two years. Prizes will also be awarded to all runners-up with each receiving a trophy and £500.

Even though it was last month, we're still celebrating National Bingo Week with a £20,000 donation to Variety - The Children's Charity .

National Bingo Week and National Bingo Day returned for its fourth year during the last week of June, with a series of exclusive games, events and activities and we loved it.

Club 3000 Bingo Greenock Hits The Jackpot...Again!!

Our club in Greenock celebrated yet another big jackpot win on the afternoon of Saturday 29th June as part of National Bingo Week celebrations.

A lucky local lady won the £50,000 Community Prize on the National Bingo Community Game resulting in the prize of £50,000 being divided equally between the number of people who participated in the game. The prize was shared out amongst 150 of our lucky members, each receiving £335.

This is the SIXTH big jackpot win over the last couple of years. It most definitely is Scotland’s luckiest town with the highest jackpot winnings in the whole of Scotland.

The local lady who is retired, won the prize for everyone by being the player to claim a win on the lowest number of calls in the club. She scooped the house prize and a jackpot of £1,000 and her share of the Community Jackpot prize of £50,000. She is a regular at Club 3000 Bingo in Greenock attending every Saturday with her friend.

Thursday 27th June 2024 was National Bingo Day & the day that the Manager of our Blackpool club won PopMasters!

Sean Connolly loves bingo and music, and the two very nicely came together on the Ken Bruce show recently.

Ken Bruce hosts his show 10am weekdays on Greatest Hits Radio, including the well known quiz PopMasters, which Sean won by a whopping 30 points. His huge win put him through to the "3 in 10" heat, which he won easily by naming three hits by the group Madness.

A charity in Fife has celebrated the incredible contributions of its volunteers and staff at a special awards event, and we very proudly sponsored the Perpetual Smile award, which honours those who brought an infectious smile and spread warmth and positivity to those around them.

Based in Kirkcaldy, Nourish Support Centre provides much needed and life-changing support to families in Fife who have additional support needs.
Founded in 2011, Nourish was established by five parents who all had children with additional support needs. They wanted to address the significant gaps in support available for families in their situation and understood the daily challenges they face.

The annual event took place at Kirkcaldy’s Dean Park Hotel earlier this month.

National Bingo Day Is Back For Its 4th Year!

National Bingo Day celebrations are set to return on Thursday 27th June 2024, and we'll be celebrating the love of the game and everything that makes it special.

Following the success over the last few years, we'll celebrate National Bingo Day, with a series of exclusive games, events, activities and promotions taking place in our clubs throughout National Bingo Week (Monday 24th – Sunday 30th June) and National Bingo Day (Thursday 27th June).

To further mark the occasion, a mystery celebrity bingo caller will be surprising players at one lucky club by hosting a special game of bingo ahead of National Bingo Day. This comes as new research commissioned by The Bingo Association revealed the nation’s favourite voices traits and accents as bingo goers know more than any the importance of a clear and distinct voice for calling the numbers. Irish accents came out on top as Britain’s favorite (15%), and warmth (38%) and smoothness (27%) were voted the most attractive voice traits.

On Friday 28th June 2024, bingo clubs up and down the country will also be hosting a charity bingo game held in support of The Bingo Association’s charity, Variety – The Children’s Charity. The game, played in each bingo club, is expected to raise over £20,000 for the charity, which will contribute to the total £1.8m charitable donations made by the industry since 2015.

A New Home For Our Edinburgh Club!!

Our New State-Of-The-Art Club Will Open This Year!!

We'll be moving into the new home for our Edinburgh Club later this year and we can't wait.

We've invested £5 million to create a 27,500 sq ft modern and luxurious venue for all our members.

The new club will be within Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, which offers a mix of retail, leisure and dining options as well as coffee shops, 24-hour Pure Gym, 12 screen Vue Cinema and Scotland's leading tourist attraction, The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Our bingo club, when it opens later this year, will substantially enhance the leisure offering at Ocean Terminal. The new club will be situated at ground floor level, providing free car parking and has the tram stop and bus stops located opposite the entrance.

Brian Fraser, founder of Club 3000 Bingo, said:

We are delighted to announce that Oliver Fraser has been promoted to the position of Development Director

Oliver Fraser , current General Manager of our Kilmarnock Club, has recently been appointed as Development Director.

Oliver started his new role at the beginning of April and will be responsible for all areas of development within the Company, for all 24 of our clubs nationwide.

Oliver, who is 24 years of age, became the youngest General Manager in the bingo industry when he took the role of GM at Club 3000 Bingo Kilmarnock in August 2022, when he was aged just 22.

Oliver said:

"I am deeply honoured and excited to have been entrusted with this position. Over the past six years I have dedicated myself to the Bingo industry, weathering its toughest challenges firsthand. Despite these circumstances, Club 3000 has shown resilience and growth during this time.

The origins of Mother's Day

Mothering Sunday dates back to the 16th Century with no actual connections to Mothers. The word ‘Mothering’ referred to the ‘Mother Church’, which was the main church or cathedral in the region. The tradition was that on the 4th Sunday of Lent, people visited their Mother Church for a special service and servants were given the day off so that they too could celebrate. It was often the only day that a whole family could be together at the same time and eventually the religious tradition evolved in 'Mothering Sunday'.

Cake has always been a big feature

Simnel cake was traditionally baked as a gift and was considered an indulgence during Lent. It’s a rich fruit cake topped with a layer of marzipan and is usually adorned with 11 marzipan balls that represent the disciples of Jesus, minus Judas. More modern variations are topped with flowers or some prefer a lighter sponge cake, but the tradition of cake on Mother’s Day remains.

However you choose to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, it’s a universally recognised day of celebration where everyone’s Mother is treated to something lovely.

The winner said she was "overjoyed and shocked" when she realised her numbers had come up.

This summer saw the long-awaited opening of Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool, our state of the art, purpose built bingo hall among the grandest in the country!

With millions spent on the venue, our man in charge Sean Connolly, a local man with three decades of experience in the UK bingo industry. A well known and much loved character in the bingo scene, Sean has seen it all!.

Bingo Daily got the opportunity to pose a few questions to Sean about managing the Blackpool venue and the bingo world in general, and we thought you'd like to read what Sean had to say:

Bingo Daily:

Sean, before we talk about the eagerly anticipated opening of the Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool, of which you are the general manager, I want to hear about your incredible journey in the UK bingo world so far. Is it 35 years and 24 bingo clubs? When and where did you have your first ever bingo experience, and when did you know that bingo would be central to your life? Talk us through your journey.

Sean:

After graduating from Polytechnic, I saw an advert in the local paper for Trainee managers for Coral Social Clubs. I knew little about bingo. So, before my interview, I paid a visit to the bingo club located in the Coral Island complex in Blackpool. I was amazed how busy and exciting the atmosphere was. I was taken on as a trainee Manager at the Coral Social Club in Preston & knew straight away that I had found my vocation.

Bingo Daily:

Now, you're a Fleetwood man who has been working all over the UK for 30 years . Blackpool is very much a homecoming for you. Was that the reason you took the position? Does it make it more special than other clubs you've worked in?

Sean:

I took the position because I knew the potential that opening in a town like Blackpool offered. When I started in bingo there were 9 bingo clubs on the Fylde Coast. When The Empire closed in 2020, this took the number of clubs in the area down to just 2. From working all over the UK, I was aware how many customers visited Blackpool and played bingo when they were there. The new club is incredibly special. At the age of 57, I thought I may be a bit too old to take on such a challenge, but the Company has given me a fabulous support team, and Brian Fraser the Founder of Club 3000 Bingo persuaded Mike Travis out of retirement to be my House Manager. His experience has been invaluable.

Bingo Daily:

Onto Club 3000 Bingo Blackpool, talk us through the opening night. You had a few Corrie stars there and it seemed an amazing night had by all, but were you able to enjoy it or was there just too much going on?

Sean:

I thoroughly enjoyed the opening night. The key to it was all the preparation we did beforehand for it to run smoothly. My area Manager Patrick Brignall had produced some amazing graphics and we had rehearsed the ceremony at least 20 times in the run up to the opening. There was some amazing support from family & friends at the opening night and of course having some Coronation Street actors along made it more exciting for our customers. One former colleague said I looked very relaxed which I took as a compliment!

Bingo Daily:

Now, a lot of money has been spent on this venue by Club 3000 Bingo. Do you feel more pressure because of the level of investment and because it is new than you would elsewhere?

Sean:

There is always pressure on you when a new club opens, as you want it to be a success not just for yourself and the team but also for the whole Company. I was confident with the substantial investment in recruitment, training and marketing and the experience we have in opening new clubs , it was always going to be a success.

Bingo Daily:

What is the make-up of your visitors? Have you had a lot of tourists over the summer visit the club, or is it mainly the locals? And from the locals, what sort of crowd comes to your club? Older, younger, mixed?

Sean:

There is a huge appetite for bingo. Whilst we've had a lot of visits from visiting customers, the majority of the custom is local from the Fylde coast. What has surprised me has been the amount of younger people attending at night.

Bingo Daily:

Whilst other retail bingo chains and most independents have suffered terribly from the COVID-19 lockdowns and the UK has lost around 30-40% of all its Bingo clubs over the last few years, the story of Club 3000 Bingo has been one of success – snapping up closing clubs, opening new ones. What are Club 3000 Bingo doing right that others are not, and what is it like to work for Club 3000?

Sean:

I think the key to Club 3000's success is being simple & completely transparent in what we offer. We also invest heavily in our clubs and facilities within them. In the last 8 years we have invested £15m in refurbishments alone and this excludes the investment in our Blackpool opening. We are planning refurbs in our Mansfield, and Old Trafford clubs in the next few months alongside a £2M refurb in Cardiff starting next month. We are also refurbishing our flagship Coatbridge club soon and spending £5.5m on a brand new club in Edinburgh which will open next year.

We also want all our customers regulars and new, to have a great night out and feel part of our community. I love working for Club 3000. It's bingo how it should be.

Bingo Daily:

Lastly, after so many closures, what do you think needs to happen for the retail bingo scene in the UK? Can it flourish again? If so, how?

Sean:

I think bingo has a real future. The beauty of the game is its simplicity, it is a fun, exciting game within a safe environment and part of the local community.

Baby Jackpot Surprise For Expectant Mum

Member Hits The Jackpot Whilst Playing Bingo With Baby Boy Surprise!!

On Monday evening 30th October, a local lady went into labour whilst playing bingo at our club in Blackpool.

Tammy Hall who is 30 years of age and a regular bingo player, has been attending the club since it opened last summer. She came along with her mother on the night to play her favourite game, when she realised the baby was coming just before the late session began.

The staff at the club made sure she was comfortable whilst ringing for an ambulance. As soon as the ambulance arrived, they escorted Tammy to the car park and within 30 minutes she gave birth to a healthy 8lb 9 oz baby boy who they have named Teddie! The ambulance remained in the car park as there was no time to drive Tammy to the hospital!

Tammy Halll who is already a mother to 3 other children said:

“I could not believe it, my mum said let’s go to the bingo tonight to get my mind off things as I was 2/3 days late. I thought I may win a prize and I certainly did, the biggest prize of all a new healthy baby boy. The staff were incredible and so calm and caring, a special thank you to Phil who realised I was in distress, Larry who then phoned the ambulance and Kairen who remained with me until the ambulance arrived”.

The Luckiest Bingo Club in Scotland Celebrates 25 Years of Bingo

Our club in Greenock is celebrating 25 years since opening its doors back in 1998.

On Friday 17 ^th November there was a host of special games and big jackpot prizes up for grabs as the team threw the biggest party in town.

As well as great prizes there was a live performance from Dave Finnigan’s Commitments, making it a night to remember.

Our brand new bar at Club 3000 Peterlee, 'The Last Call', is ready for you to enjoy!

‘ We've officially launched a brand-new Bar Lounge called ‘The Last Call' within our Peterlee club.

We refurbished a vacant shop next door, that had been empty for over a decade and after a £500k investment in the new area, its ready for our members to enjoy.

We relaunched the club at the end of October, officially opening the new bar. The refurbishment involved knocking through from the vacant shop into the bingo club, creating the state-of-the-art lounge and a new bingo environment for our customers.

The area enhances the customer experience, those that wish to are now able to talk while playing bingo, in a relaxing luxurious environment. There is also an extensive range of drinks available in the bar which includes a new cocktail menu and freshly ground coffee, and as always great value bingo.

For the sport loving customers Sky Sports is also shown in the bar throughout the day. You can also book a booth for those special occasions with your friends and family.

On Thursday 2nd November at our club in Kilmarnock, we celebrated a huge win as a lucky member (who has chosen to remain anonymous) bagged the big prize.

On Monday 10th July a lucky member, who regularly attends the club and was celebrating their birthday, won a life-changing £50,000 on the National Bingo Game and we couldn't feel happier if we tried.

The member from Ashton-in-Makerfield, has been playing the nations favourite game of bingo for many years and is a regular at our club, joining us twice a week with her husband. While playing the evening session, all her numbers came up and she scooped the £50,000 jackpot, all whilst celebrating her 79th birthday!

The lucky lady said:

“I never thought I'd win the big prize, I love coming to the club it is like one big family. I just love everything about bingo – and the wonderful staff at this club who are always so welcoming”.

OUR BRAND NEW £5 MILLION CLUB IS OPEN!

On Saturday 1st July we opened the doors of our brand-new venue at Festival Leisure Park in Blackpool, making it our 24th bingo club!!

We invested £5 million in building our latest venue, with an innovative design and layout.

It was a launch night to remember with over 800 customers that we treated to a variety of entertainment, including a magician, the entertainer Craig Harper as well as the favourite national pastime of bingo.

Every customer was given a glass of bubbly on arrival and the venue was officially opened by actors Joe Duttine and Sally Carman-Duttine who play Tim Metcalfe and Abi Franklin in Coronation Street.

Brian Fraser the owner of Club 3000 said:

“We were thrilled to launch our newest club here at Blackpool, the club demonstrates how we lead the way as a modern-day bingo operator. We welcome all our new customers to the Club 3000 family. It was fantastic so see so many customers celebrating with us on the night.”

Our New State-Of-The-Art Club Will Open Next Year!!

We're excited to announce that we've found a new home for our Edinburgh Club and will be moving in next year, after we've invested £5 million to create a 27,500 sq ft modern and luxurious venue for all our members.

Our bingo club, when it opens next year, will substantially enhance the leisure offering at Ocean Terminal. The new club will be situated at ground floor level, providing free car parking and has the tram stop and bus stops located opposite the entrance.

Brian Fraser, founder of Club 3000 Bingo, said:

”We are excited to be involved in this new project and look forward to opening this club next year to add to our growing portfolio of our existing 23 clubs. It promises to be one of the best clubs ever developed in the UK.”

Colin White of C J White Associates Ltd who acted on behalf of Club 3000 commented:
